Get Started in 5 Easy Steps
Step 1: Unbox Your Trezor
Inside the box, you should find your Trezor device (Model T or Model One), a USB cable, recovery seed cards, stickers, and a getting started guide. Ensure the package hasn’t been tampered with before proceeding.
Step 2: Visit the Official Start Page
On your computer, open a secure browser and go to: https://trezor.io/start. Never use third-party links to access wallet setup pages.
Step 3: Install Trezor Suite
Trezor Suite is the official desktop application for managing your device and crypto assets.
- Click “Download Trezor Suite”
- Select your operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux)
- Install and launch the application
Step 4: Initialize Your Trezor
Connect your device via USB and open Trezor Suite. Follow on-screen prompts to:
- Install the latest firmware (if prompted)
- Create a new wallet or restore from backup
- Generate your recovery seed (24 words)
Step 5: Secure and Use Your Wallet
Once initialized, you can:
- Send and receive crypto securely
